Oh my goodness... With the craziness of the Holidays and everything else, my consistency with my blog has not been good. So, I thought I would post a small piece of GOODNESS to get me back on track. Baby Photo Session - 7.11.2011

Well, I love little babies... They are so cute to me, especially when they start to develop their personalities. This sweet little boy was pretty serious with me... Its funny because after a while, I guess he got comfortable with me pointing a lens at his face, and actually started to pose for me... How cute!! These are a few images from the session...

My First Planting Experience

Hello there...

Well, when summer finally arrived, my Husband and I decided that we needed to spruce up the backyard.. My project was to dig up the weeds... My initial thought was that I was going to dread every minute... but it actually turned out to be quite relaxing, except for the pain the next day. Luckily, my mom loves to gardening and she was willing to help. We even took it a step further and bought plants...

Yep, my first planting experience at my home... and it felt really good. I think I may actually be addicted to gardening... its so peaceful. Although its not done, I wanted to post a few pictures of the plants we bought.. All are some type of perennial or tree/shrub. I wanted it to be low maintenance.. Well, here they are:

Dwight & Kamilah 5.7.11

Love is.... Dwight and Kamilah are one of my favorite couples... I am not just saying that because Kamilah is good friend that I have known for over 19 years... (yikes, that ages us) but because I could just see the love and respect that they had for one another. It was clear that Kamilah finally met her KING!! I am so happy for the both of them, and I know that they will have many years blessed with a love that is patient, kind, and just plain ole' sweet.
